British College Sport Regional Champions - 2013, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008
The Women's Football Academy at Kingston College is run in partnership with England and Arsenal International footballer Alex Scott. The Alex Scott Academy provides our players with high quality coaching - up to eight hours a week - and the opportunity to compete against top opposition as part of the British Colleges Sport Category One league, which is the highest level of college football in England.
Players can progress onto top club level in the UK or those wishing to continue their football overseas will have the opportunity to attain a scholarship in the US. All Academy players have the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Alex during the season. Academy students are also encouraged to gain coaching awards and coaching experience working with children from the local community.
We offer excellent playing and training facilities based at Kingston University’s new sports complex Tolworth Court as well as use of the Kingston College's Arena Sports complex as part of players strength and conditioning development.
Zoe Fisher studied for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport at Kingston College and won the Sports Player of the Year award in 2011. She progressed onto a USA Scholarship at Minot State University where she is currently top goal scorer. She plans to major in Physical Education in 2014.
All students accepted on the Sport Academy programme will need to be enrolled on a fulltime academic or vocational sport course at Kingston College. There are kit fees for all academy members.
