Comedian, Actor, Youtuber & former student Humza Arshad Returns to Kingston College

We are thrilled Comedian, Actor, Youtuber & former student Humza Arshad will be joining us to welcome students who enrol at Kingston College in September.

 

Famous for his web series ‘Diary of a Badman’,  Humza studied BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Kingston College and will welcome students during induction week and talk to students  about his route to success, the importance of respect and tolerance in society, what extremism is and how to stay safe.

 

His homemade YouTube videos have been viewed more than 73 million times and have made him one of the most popular online comedians in the UK. He has also has more than 295,000 subscribers on YouTube.

 

Principal Peter Mayhew-Smith commented  

“We are delighted to welcome back our former student Humza to Kingston College to send out such important positive messages around extremism, inclusion and British values as well as inspiring students with his own success story.”

 

Humza is looking forward to visiting Kingston College and said

“It’s great to return to my old College and speak to students about topics which I feel so strongly about as a British Muslim, I’m also hoping to inspire students by telling my own story about achieving your goals.”

 

The Principal’s Welcome and Student Induction will be taking place for new Kingston College students from Monday 5th to Thursday 8th September in the Arthur Cotterell Theatre (ACT).
