Kingston College proud to host Safeguarding Conference

Kingston College proud to host Safeguarding Conference 01 February, 2018

Kingston College was delighted to host a Safeguarding Conference on behalf of Achieving for Children (AfC), the children’s service provider for Kingston and Richmond Boroughs in late January. The event was held in the college’s Undergraduate Centre with over 90 delegates attending. The event offered the opportunity for delegates to hear from key note speakers in the sector and to network.

The College has a long standing association with AfC and is always pleased to collaborate with partners in our local community with events such as this.

Jo Dallal, Head of Section for HE – Counselling and Early Years, who helped to organise the event said: “We have a strong commitment to Safeguarding at the College– a topic which we cover time and time again with students on our specialist Early Years courses. When the opportunity arose to host and help to run the conference we had to accept!”
