Kingston College Launches a new partnership with Fulham Football Club Foundation
Kingston College is delighted to announce the news of an exciting new change to our Women's Football Academy. In our ongoing commitment to providing students with best possible experience of training, play and competition, Kingston College Women's Football Academy is proud to announce that is has formed a new partnership with Fulham Football Club Foundation.
The decision to establish a partnership with the Fulham Football Club Foundation will allow us to focus our attention on delivering a highly personal and responsive provision for students. This partnership will give students greater options for progression, and will allow them the opportunity to watch first team training sessions, receive tickets to watch matches and benefit from being connected with a highly regarded football club with an excellent history of youth and women's football provision.
The new Academy will add to the already flourishing Academy provision at Kingston College and aims to provide players with an unforgettable experience where they can grow and develop as footballers in a nurturing environment. Players will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in front of some of the top coaches and scouts in both England and the USA.
The Academy will give players aged between 16-19 the chance to develop their footballing talents and skills whilst studying at Kingston College. Those selected for the Academy will benefit from 6-9 hours of quality coaching delivered by UEFA B licence coaches who will incorporate technical and tactical components with comprehensive strength and conditioning sessions. The links with Fulham will give the Women's Football Academy greater exposure both here and aboard thus giving students greater opportunities to reach their potential. We are currently holding extra trials due to this new partnership.
(All students that are successful will also be required to study towards a L2 or L3 qualification in Sport and Exercise Science, depending on what GCSE qualification they hold).
