Landscape Exhibition by Art and Design Students

Landscape Exhibition by Art and Design Students 06 January, 2017

Kingston College’s Penny School Gallery is currently hosting a wonderful landscape exhibition by our Art and Design students.

The exhibition, entitled ‘A Sense of Place’, is the culmination of a first project by the Level 2 students and has been displayed from mid December until mid January 2017.

The brief required the students to design and create a landscape painting which must reflect their own sense of place including their experiments with mark making and colour theory.

Art and Design Programme Leader, Hayley Baker commented: “I am so proud of my students. They have each created interesting and independent landscapes all to a very high standard. It is amazing to see them all together! The students felt a great sense of pride when they came to their exhibition. It is always so exhilarating to see one’s work elevated from the studio to gallery space.”
