Jobs in this area range from being an actor, performer, presenter, director, and workshop facilitator to theatre manager, arts administrator, teacher, youth worker, drama therapist and business entrepreneur.

Here are some skills you will be able to develop:

  • You will have advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • If you study Acting/Performing Arts at Level 3 you can gain UCAS points that will gain you entry to a wide range of University places (not necessarily to continue studying Performing Arts) or into top creative industries training centres
  • If you study HNC Acting you will gain a recognised qualification that will launch you into industry or into the second or third year of a degree programme
  • If you undertake our BA(Hons) Acting for Stage and Media programme you will develop the skills to move into industry (as did our past student Howard Charles - Porthos in BBC's The Musketeers
  • You will have highly developed creative skills and abilities
  • You will have strong emotional intelligence and empathy
  • You will be a highly motivated independent learner
