Games Design is built on core traditional art and design skills such as pre-production, idea creation through drawing development and research, which then directly informs the 2D/3D digital content creation of the computer gaming assets and environment.

Students either go directly into the workplace or study a variety of degrees at university including games design, computer animation SFX and architectural/product pre-visualisation.

All students work on Apple Mac computers and a range of industry-standard design software packages. Using these tools, the learner will develop skills in the visual language of computer games and interactivity as well as attain an all round knowledge of producing computer games from narrative creation, concept art, sound and video, 3D modelling and animation.
