The units listed below are indicative of the course content, you will also need to achieve some standard study skills units:
Biology - Introduction to major themes of biology such as cells, biochemistry, energy, nutrition, homeostasis, the cardio-vascular system, inheritance and laboratory skills.
Chemistry - Introduction to matter (atoms, ions and molecules), organic chemistry, equilibrium and enthalpy, measuring and explaining reaction rates, amount of substance (moles).
Physics - Application of health physics, concepts of health physics, medical imaging, electricity and nuclear physics, oscillations and waves, circuit electricity.
Maths – Graphical Methods and Algebra.
