Aeronautical

The Aeronautical Engineering team at Kingston College strive to realise the ambitions of our students to become part of a very exciting industry. We recognise the growing need for more trained engineers in the aviation industry and we are constantly seeking new opportunities for employment and work experience for our students.

Our aim is to facilitate an achievable pathway for our focussed students to realise their potential and ambition in Aircraft Engineering, both in a maintenance environment and manufacture and design. Our students are expected to maintain a high level of personal discipline and have the opportunity to mature into young people developing a level of integrity and team ethic as demanded by the aircraft engineering industry.

We have a very strong team of professionals who have a huge amount of industrial experience and a strong desire to impart their knowledge and experience onto our students. We also use this knowledge of the industry to adapt and move forward in an ever changing environment.

Recent investment by Kingston College has seen the development of our workshops and classroom based training facilities to a high standard in order to deliver our training in line with industrial requirements.

We have an excellent history of successes and have former students working in a variety of prestigious companies.

Wherever possible we take opportunities to take students to relevant and interesting off site locations to not only stimulate their interest in the field, develop their understanding of the roles available but also to ensure that our students receive a well-rounded comprehensive understanding of not only the technical elements of Aircraft Engineering but the personal characteristics demanded by such a tightly regulated and safety conscious industry.
