On 26 June 2019, our Engineering apprentices exchanged their overalls for evening attire at a Presentation Evening where individuals were recognised for their work ethic, focus and overall effort.
We were delighted to welcome guest speaker Glyn Moorshead, Engineering Training Manager at Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited (HAL).
Before handing out the awards, Glyn was shown an Outward Bounds video which the apprentices had made of their Outward bounds experience.
The awards provided recognition to a number of apprentices for their workmanship, enthusiasm and attendance with prizes being handed out from global engineering and manufacturing companies HAL, Babcock and Kohler.

John Gatehouse from Glaxo, chosen for his great overall improvement in year long development both practically and academically.
Nathan Harradine from Lufthansa, for taking great care and pride in the appearance of his work, both practical and written and completing everything to a high standard.
