VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments (16-18 years)

The Level 3 in Beauty Therapy course offers the opportunity to develop skills in beauty therapy, leading to employment in a thriving profession dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. This course is suitable for students between the ages of 16-18 years; older students may be interested in the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies (Adults).

  • Entry Requirements


    We will invite you to a Meet the Tutor event where you will receive information, advice, and guidance about the course you have applied for. This will be an opportunity for you to gain valuable information about the course and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

    You will provide a copy of your last school report and / or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other this will include attendance. This is to ensure we can support to be able to achieve well on the course. Applicants with 85% or below attendance will have been deemed not to have met this criteria. All applicants are given an opportunity to discuss any evidence based mitigating circumstances that may have affected the reference / school report.

    You will have gained either English and/or maths at GCSE 4/C or above or L2 Functional skills English and/or maths, and a Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy at Merit level.

    Practical work is completed in the College's purpose-built salons and theory rooms. All students receive tutorial guidance and are set personal targets to achieve. Continuous assessment of beauty therapy skills ensures satisfactory progress. (Entry to the course entitles application for Student Membership of the British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (BABTAC). Membership enables students to attend national/international beauty events).

  • Additional Information


    Information regarding specific course charges, equipment and materials and days of attendance will be given at interview. Students will be expected to undertake a 5-day work experience placement during the first term of the course. Early application is advisable, as this course is popular. This course is delivered at our Kingston Hall Road centre.
