Five GCSE's at grade C/4 or above including English Language, Maths and Science. Science or Maths should be grade B/5. Alternatively a BTEC Level 2 in Engineering (overall Grade Merit) with Merits in the Mathematics and Science units, and GCSE grade C/4 in both English Language and Mathematics. Satisfactory references, attendance record and interview.
International Entry Requirements
High School leaving Certificate and Grade C or above (Grade B or above in Mathematics or Science). Satisfactory reference, telephone interview where required. IELTS 5.0 or an English Language equivalent certificate.
Duration and Delivery
One year, full-time.
To progress onto the Extended Diploma, each student must achieve both a good result and a good reference from the course team as well as having excellent attendance and punctuality. Each learner is also expected to have completed 5 days of work experience during the year. If these conditions are not met, this might result in the student not being able to continue to the Extended Diploma course.
