Quality Assurance and Teaching Staff
We have been a British Council accredited College for our English Language courses since 2003. For BC inspection report 2015
All students must take an initial assessment test before starting the English Language Course. This allows us to ensure that the student is in the class at the correct level. Dates for enrolment and testing are arranged with the student at the beginning of their programme.
Students must be prepared to pay the fees at enrolment unless they have already paid in advance.
This course is offered with flexible starting dates, so the students can choose the start date and course duration that suits them, although we do not start students towards the end of the term study period.
All applications must be made either online or at the International Office, Kingston College, Kingston Hall Road, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom KT1 2AQ.

We can also help find local host family accommodation if required. Host family accommodation prices are from £155 per week. Local student accommodation information is also available through this link: http://kingston-college.ac.uk/component/k2/accommodation. Our fantastic leisure programme specially tailored to our EFL students includes reasonably priced trips. In the past these have included day trips to Hampton Court, the Houses of Parliament, Stonehenge and Hever Castle. (A small fee may be charged - between £10 and £25; transport is generally free of charge!) Residential trips are also available to places of interest in the UK, including the Isle of Wight and the Peak District (costs depending on length of stay).
We can provide a Kingston College certificate stating the level that the student has been assessed at (this is not an internationally recognised English Language Certificate); there are no final examinations for this course. However we try to help to guide students to meet their career aims. The course can be used to work towards improving IELTS scores. Students can also work towards achieving a higher English Language level and study for their SELT (Secure English Language Test) e.g. IETLS or Trinity.
Students who would like to study English further are able to apply for the following programmes:
