Testimonials

Find out here what our students are saying about EFL at Kingston College:

“I came to the UK last November and joined the EFL course at Kingston College from January. After only one term I managed to pass the FCE (Cambridge First Certificate in English) exam which was great! I then progressed onto the CAE course which gave me a lot of confidence and I am sure my CV will be more interesting for potential employers. When I get back home I will be working for our family business and I will be able to communicate with our customers and suppliers in English which I am very proud of!"

"I have met a lot of great people at the College, including my classmates and teachers. The feeling of being able to watch a film or read a book in English is mind-blowing!” - Student from Czech Republic

“I went to Kingston College while I was here as an au-pair. I can definitely say that my English has improved. Mostly by speaking English in everyday life but also through the English classes. I have done the FCE and the CAE classes and have been in the College for three terms".

"I enjoyed the topics, the content of the lessons and the humorous way of teaching. In the future I am planning to go back to Germany to start university. My English skills could help me when I have to talk to people who can only speak English and with my studies”. - Student from Germany

“I have been studying English at Kingston College for 10 months. I started attending the Upper-Intermediate class in September and moved up to FCE in January. Fortunately I was able to take the FCE exam in March and obtained the Cambridge First Certificate which I am really proud of!"

"I am in the CAE class now which is quite demanding and well-structured as our teacher is really organised and makes every lesson as interesting as possible."

"We are not just learning grammar – it is more about understanding and being able to speak the language itself. I am enjoying the classes very much because the group is quite small so everyone has the opportunity to get answers immediately and to participate. What I also like about this College is that the classes are three times a week – at the beginning I was a bit sceptical that it was going to be too much for me to have to cope with but then I realised that this really helped me to learn faster as you are more likely to focus on your studies in class than at home!"

"To sum up, I would say that attending EFL classes at Kingston College has shown me how much of a language you can actually learn in just one year! My English knowledge has improved a lot during these three terms and I am certain I can use these skills back home as I am applying for an English Degree course at university back in Germany!” - Student from Germany

“I’ve never had better teachers” (Magda from Poland, November 2018).

“I love the option of having the evening lessons.” (Irati from Spain, November 2018).
