Students will study the following topics
Particle model of matter
Magnetism and electromagnetism
The course is assessed by two written exams, each worth 50% of the final marks. The exam questions will be a mixture of multiple choice: structured; closed short answer and open response questions.
- Students should have achieved at least four grade D/3 including GCSE Maths and GCSE Science.
- Students should be doing another Science (either GCSE Chemistry or GCSE Biology).
- Students with international qualifications, who do not have above entry requirements might be considered subject to a subject specific diagnostic test.
