Chloe studied BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography at Kingston College and previously attended school in Spain. She is now studying a BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Promotion at University of the Creative Arts.
Chloe has provided the following account of her time at Kingston College:
When I first started at Kingston College I was just sixteen. Coming from Spain to England was a different yet positive experience. I decided to study a BTEC in Photography and I don’t think I would have been capable to achieve such high grades if not for my tutors, especially Photography lecturer, Estelle Vincent, who pushed me to work as hard as I could. During the first year, I found a subject which I really enjoyed - the fashion industry. From that point onwards, I decided I wanted to study something related to this. With Estelle we started looking at different university courses and I discovered the course I am now on at UCA Rochester.
I really concentrated on my college work and when doing research. I met a friend, Shawna, and we bonded in a really good way and helped each other with different subjects in the course. This is when I really noticed I had fallen in love with my course, with what I was doing and it was worth going each day to class and learning about different things.
Finally, I would like to recall that throughout this experience I found what I really enjoy doing, and I also found myself. It also led me to the course I am now undertaking but most of all it showed me how I needed to stand out and share my ideas. The course itself is really flexible and unique, it lets you create anything and it fulfils your desires for your future career.
