    Undergraduate  Centre

    The Undergraduate Centre is situated on the 11th floor of the Kingston Hall Road Centre, and is open to all College students studying at HE level. The area was created with flexible learning in mind; this is illustrated by the mixture of seating, bookable rooms and areas designed for differing learning styles. 

    Qualified and knowledgeable staff are available to offer study skills help and guidance on finding appropriate print and electronic resources.

    Features at the Undergraduate Centre include:

    • a computer room containing aprpoximately 20 PCs, printing and photocopying facilities

    •  two rooms that learners can book for group work and to practise presentations

    •  a Silent Study Area

    • a Group Study Area where students can use laptops to work together in groups.

    The entire Undergraduate  Centre is supported by Wi-Fi , enabling learners to use their own portable devices. The HE Centre also features an outside terrace with panoramic views over Kingston upon Thames and the river, and a rooftop cafe.

    Learning Resources Centres (LRCs)

    The Learning Resources Centres are designed to support learning and provide:

    • Well- equipped facilities which feature open access computers, printers, photocopiers and Wi-Fi , together with a range of study environments designed to support different learner needs.
    • High quality and accessible resources to support all courses offered by the College including books, e-books, e-resources,  journals,  magazines and DVDs.
    • A team of qualified and knowledgeable staff available to help you use the Centres and offer study skills help and guidance on finding appropriate print and electronic resources.

    Our Centres
    The main Learning Resources Centre is located on the 5th floor of our Kingston Hall Road Centre.
    Additional learning resources centres are located at our Richmond Road centre (Art, Design and Music) and Anstee House (Media and Fashion).

    • Online learning resources are available, both inside and outside College, to students through ‘Your E-resources’ in the Learning Resources area of Moodle, the College virtual learning platform.
    • Learning Resources in Moodle also provides online self-study guides to help students  improve a wide range of study skills.
    • The Learning Resources tab in Moodle allows students to access these resources using their student ID number and unique password.

    The Kingston Hall Road Centre houses the Learning Resources Centre (5th floor) and the Higher Education Centre (11th floor).The Higher Education Centre is designed to support flexible learning for our HE students.

  • Deli KC

    Deli KC

    Deli KC is the College café which is open from early morning until the evenings, offering snacks and hot meals to our students.
    The Deli KC home-made breakfasts offer you choice, from the traditional fry-up to croissants, and including healthier choices such as porridge and fruit.
    The lunches and dinners offered range from snacks to soup, pasta and curries to roasts, and we always have a salad bar option. 
    Hot and cold drinks are always available.
    Our friendly serving staff are on hand to help students, and Deli KC remains open into the evening  for our adult learners.

  • Penny School Gallery

    Penny School Gallery

    The Penny School Gallery hosts exhibitions of the work of students, staff and international artists and includes contemporary art, design and crafts. The gallery is located within the School of Art and Design on our Richmond Road campus.
