LE Drawing And Painting: Professional Techniques

Ideal for the budding artist, this course teaches you how to paint beautiful painting. You will be encouraged to work on individual projects you will develop observational skills and the use of other source material, the ability to select and use different media and techniques, how to mix and use colours with some confidence, how to create balanced compositions and develop your individual creativity.

From the fundamentals of sketching and colour, to composition, painting and experimenting with style, you will study and explore an engaging variety of creative media and subject matters.

If you are self-employed, you might be able to deduct your enrolment fee from your taxable income.

  • Course Content


    By the end of the course you'll have created a substantial body of work. The course teaches you how to:

    • Work with oils and acrylics
    • Use both dry and fluid mediums
    • Use a variety of drawing materials
    • Look at and take inspiration from, the work and practice of a variety of artists. This curated approach will develop your skills, confidence and creative vision, to help you see and express the world around you in visual terms.
